About Traineeships
The program is designed for self-study at any time that suits your schedule. Your tutor will be in touch with you to check your progress and provide feedback. A group chat will be set up for the course participants.
The programme is for the young people who are not currently in full-time employment and have little work experience, but who are focused on work or the prospect of it.
Because of the nature of this programme (temporary placement), the employer is not required to pay salary to the trainee. It is recommended, though, to reimburse lunch & travel expenses.

- work placement (on-site or remote) for 70 hours min.
- training in Employability skills, English/Maths (if necessary), other courses relevant for their role.

- Delivery driver
- Waitressing / waitering
- Retail assistant
- Warehouse assistant
- Admin assistant
- Business assistant & Personal assistant
- Sales & Marketing assistant
- Customer service assistant
- Online research assistant
- Provide a meaningful placement. Organise feedback sessions with a trainee with constructive feedback and advice.
- Provide the necessary equipment. If a placement is remote - provide the laptop, and other equipment, as necessary. (approx. £250 - this will be reimbursed from the funding)
- If a job or an apprenticeship is available, offer the trainee an interview at the end of the programme. If no such opportunity is available, provide an exit interview with meaningful written feedback.
- Guide your company through the process & answer your questions.
- Help you sign up for the programme, including assistance with documents’ preparation.
- Source the candidates.
- Check the candidates' eligibility & basic suitability for the position at your company.
A candidate would be:
A company can have up to 10 candidates. The grant funding is capped at 10 placements per company.
- 16-24 years old
- with education up to (and including) A-levels
- with little work experience or with work experience in a different field, but willing to learn and grow!

If a candidate leaves before completion of 70 hours, the funding will not be issued.
The funding will be sent to the employer. It is processed within a month of placement completion.

The amount of grant funding is £1000, and it is not dependent on placement length. Out of £1000, £500 goes to us for the provision of our services.

Conditions of Participation
There are a couple of basic conditions your company needs to fulfil to participate in Traineeships
- Officially registeredYour company is registered with Companies House
- Meaningful tasksTrainee needs to be given meaningful tasks & receive feedback.
- EL InsuranceYou must have a valid Employers’ Liability (EL) insurance
- Interview & FeedbackUpon the placement end, the company needs to hold either a real job interview with the Trainee or a formal exit interview with meaningful written feedback.

Payment Plan
The payment plan is rather straightforward:
- £200 prepayment (fully refundable if grant is not issued which happens when the candidate works for less than 70 hours)
- £300 - upon placement end.
